On September 15, 210 new fighters finished their training and joined the US-backed Raqqa Security Forces (RSF), according to Kurdish sources.
The training course reportedly included military and security training but lasted only 10 days.
The RSF is a part of the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF). The main task of the RSF will be to maintain security in Raqqa city after the SDF captures it.
The SDF claims that the force is purely Arabian. However, many sources claimed that all the commanders are from Kurdish security forces known as the Asayish.
On Septebmer 14, the SDF announced that it killed 19 ISIS fighters during clashes in al-Rawsah district in the eastern part of Raqqa city and in al-Nahdah district in the western part of the city. Moreover, SDF fighters destroyed a VBIED of ISIS in al-Amin district in the center of Raqqa city.
The SDF also announced that its fighters evacuated 20 civilians from ISIS-held areas in al-Nahdah district on September 15.
Syrian opposition sources claimed that the US-led coalition conducted more than 55 airstrikes on Raqqa city in the last 48 hours. From its side the US-led collation announced that it airplane conducted only 29 airstrikes on September 14.
