2 Ukrainian soldiers were killed and 2 others were injured as a result of the land mine explosion near the village of Svetlodarsk in the eastern region of Donbass. According to local sources, the troops accidentally entered their own mine field, which had been set up by the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) earlier.
The UAF has set up multiple mine fields across the war-torn region without any preparations and, according to local sources, in multiple cases the UAF does not even have maps of its own mine liends.
Separately, the UAF acknowledged that two UAF troops had been injured in the recent clashes in the region. The UAF also claimed that 1 DPR soldier had been killed and 11 others had been wounded in the same clashes.
